  1. Hi James

I am really pleased that your speaker is working again. It will make it a lot easier to do some of the activities.

I like the poi in Tamatea Arikinui too. I think it would take a lot of practice to be able to use the poi like this.
The singing is very good in e Iti Kahurangi they do a really good job of singing together as a group.
Sometimes the waiatas do seem a little sad and T Puku O Te Ika is a bit like this.

    Well done James

    Until next time

    Allie :)

  2. Hi James!

My name is Ellee and I am working alongside Allie and Emiely commenting on blogs for the Summer Learning Journey!

I hope you have had a great break over Christmas and New Years? Did you get up to anything exciting?

Great job with ordering the performances James, I like that you have given reasons for why you have put them in this order.

I agree with you and Allie, I was soooo impressed with the poi in the Tamatea Arikinui performance! It was really mesmerising.

I also really enjoyed the Te Iti Kahurangi performance, I think that they chose a beautiful song to sing and I hadn't heard it sung in Te Reo before.
If you would like to check out the English version of the song here is a link (hopefully your speakers are still working!): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7ZwViizRwU

Keep up the amazing work with your blog James, looks like you have been working really hard!

    Ellee :)
