Anzac Day.








Why do we hold Anzac Day?Anzac Day marks the anniversary of the first campaign that led to major casualties for Australian and New Zealand during the First World War.


Who has been to a dawn service?The first commemorative event of Anzac Day is the Dawn Service at 4.30 am.


Who has participated in different kinds of commemorations such as wreath laying, a church service, or parade? the wreath honoring those killed in World War II


Can you describe the event? The people, sounds, and what it felt like. Scary loud gun fire


Why is Anzac Day important to many New Zealanders? remembering all New Zealanders who served their country in wars.


What ideas and values do you hold about this commemorative event? It's a very important event. That we should support


How have Anzac Day commemorations changed over time? It became a public holiday


What is the relevance of Anzac Day in today's world? Commemorating the sacrifices made by people so we can de where we are today.
