Day 2: It’s All in a Day’s Work

Day 2: It’s All in a Day’s Work

Two similarities between a  wharepuni and my house are that they both have roofs and both are made from wood.
Two differences are that there isn't any ferns on our house or any designs or carvings.

Week One: In the Beginning (1800-1870)

Bonus Activity: Waka Ama

I would like to be in a waka race because It will be fun and I would get to know other people.
If I was in a waka race team, I would be very fit and excited.

Week One: In the Beginning (1800-1870)

Activity 2: Setting Sail

Dear Jack Rowe,
Last week I was in a waka and we went across the sea.
It was very scary because of the big waves and there was no food.
we had to fish ford food and tea.
My legs were very sore because I could not stand up.
It was boring just paddling and paddling across the sea.
I was tired when the waka finally made it to land.
From James.
